Our Story

During the 15-year journey of raising cats, our founder, Nick, has encountered a variety of challenges with different types of cat litter such as bentonite, tofu, and crystal cat litter. Issues like odor, sticking to the bottom, dust, and even moldy litter have been persistent concerns. Acutely aware that using chemical deodorizers to mask smells can lead to behavioral changes in cats, such as urinating less frequently and drinking less water, which can potentially increase the risk of urinary tract health issues, Nick also recognized the health hazards associated with starch-based litters that can foster harmful bacteria like Aspergillus flavus, posing a threat to the health of the home environment for cat owners. This knowledge fueled our relentless pursuit of a solution that would integrate biotechnological deodorization with cat litter craftsmanship.
